Madison calls everything she drinks, "juice". She walks over to the fridge, grabs the handle and say's juice.
Sometimes I'd offer her everything and she said no to all of them. I've finally figured out that "juice" also means she wants food. She either points to her mouth and says juice or points to her booster seat and says juice.
If she doesn't know a word she just says "this". Its very hard to know what she wants, she's just pointing and saying this. I just tell her to learn some words. ;) Just kidding, I try to guess at what she's pointing at and tell her what it is.
She says the same two phases ALL the time - Mark and I have absolutely no idea what she is saying! But she means what she's saying and lets us know about it.
She points to her diaper when she wants to be changed (only with dirty diapers, wet ones don't bother her as much)!
If I tell her that we should change her diaper she walks back to her room and points at the diapers and wipes.
If I tell her that we need to take her medicine she walks right back to my room and points to her medicine.
She love to pray. Everytime we eat, and many times throughout the day, she just puts her hands together and says ... you got it, "this", "this". So we pray and she says ... "done". We can not get her to say amen. ;)
Oh! The other day she spilled some of her water on the kitchen floor walked over and tried to get a napkin (I told her no, I didn't know she spilled the water). So she pointed to the floor to show me and I handed her the napkin .. she walked over to the mess and started to wipe it up!! Good girl, I wish she'd clean up all her messes!!
She could unpack and pack all day long. She puts her blocks in the bag and takes them out, puts them in and takes them out. This usually lasts 15 - 20 minutes. I never knew that was so much fun.
Madison LOVES LOVES LOVES to climb!! She knows when we don't push a chair in, she has some sort of radar. She RUNS to that chair and climbs up to the table. One day I was on the computer at the dining room table and all of a sudden she's IN her highchair - she had used the little footrest and climbed up and sat down and wanted food.
Out of no where, she has started to sign "more" today. I've only done it a few times in the past, but she's signed it twice today. Crazy!
