The Post A Month Overdue - - IT'S A GIRL!

SORRY!! We've known for 4 weeks now - we're having a GIRL!! Madison predicted it that morning. ;) We tell her that there is a baby in mommy's belly. She likes to kiss and then blow rasberries on my belly. We already have a name picked out .. Sydney Marie. If we ask Madison where baby Sydney is she sometimes points to her belly button or sometimes waves at my belly. ;) And she says 'nid-nee' or 'nee-nee'. She is going to be such a good big sister!!
The top picture is just showing the heartbeat; the bottom picture is of her legs.
The top picture is just of a foot; and the bottom picture is showing us it's a girl!
The top picture shows her whole body - its probably hard to tell on here - she's to the right of the picture, head at the bottom, back on the side of the picture and legs/feet at the top of the picture. The bottom picture is looking straight on - her head is in the middle of the picture and belly is that circle to the right of the picture.

Madison's Little Brother or Sister

We ask Madison if she wants a little brother and she says yes! We ask if she wants a little sister and she says yes! :) Then we tell her she can only choose one and she just smiles really big! I think as long as we let her help out like she likes to help out when Mommy babysits she'll be a very happy big sister!

Mommy at 16 weeks.

This was our first sonogram, around 9 1/2 weeks. The baby was about 1 in long at that point.

In this sonogram we were about 13 1/2 weeks. In the first picture the baby was curled up in the fetal position, we couldn't measure it's length this day. But you can see the spine and stomach very clearly. In the second picture the baby put its hand up in front of its face. And in the last picture we were measuring its head to try to get an estimate on how far along, that measurement was about 1 week farther than we thought (measured 14 1/2 weeks).
We go back in 1 week (May 14th), we'll be about 18 weeks, so hopefully baby will cooperate and we can see if its a boy or girl!! Sorry, I can't wait to find out. I'll try to get those pictures up faster than I got these up.

Allergy Doctor

Today we went to see a Pediatric Allergy Doctor. She was a WONDERFUL doctor!! We have been trying to figure out what to do about Madison's cough since OCTOBER!! We finally got somewhere today - she had a scratch test done on her back, the only thing she reacted to was dogs. The doctor said because of my lovely genes, she could be likely to develop more as the years go on .. sorry Madison!! (Mommy is allergic to almost everything!! My allergy doctor told me the worst place for me to live is ... Kansas ... and that I should move to the desert. Right, like that is an option.) Anyway, Madison will take zyrtec (everyday or as needed, whatever Mommy and Daddy decide), use a saline mist for her nose when she needs that, and we got to take home a lovely nebulizer where she can breathe in albuteral whenever she gets a really bad cough - the albuteral will open her airways and help her breathe. So, we finally got SOME kind of answer to what is going on and a solution, so we will see how the next few months go and go in for a check up in 3 months. Here are some pictures of her poor little back:

Madison did GREAT! She cried just a little with the second set, where it has II on her right side. The top red spot is the control - then they tested two sets of 8 allergens.

This isn't a very clear picture, but you can kind of tell on the bottom left (in between her little roll) ;) you can see a big bump (and it is REALLY RED around it). That was the reaction to dogs.

Goofing Around

Enough Said...

"Geez, I'm sooo good at these Wii games!"

Outside

Madison LOVES to be outside. If we ever get rid of this rain, I imagine we will be out a lot!! We got some toys from my grandma's house but it's rained almost everyday since then - even if it wasn't raining, the yard has never had enough time to dry up. :( And I can't wait for the new YMCA Waterpark to open, I have a feeling we'll be there a lot. We should go check out the indoor pool, it looked like a lot of fun - hopefully she loves the water as much as she did last summer!

Playing with some sidewalk chalk at Gma and Gpa's house.

A little front porch artwork!

Curly Q's

So I'm sure most of you know of Madison's huge curls!! I've had people ask me since she was about 6 months if I curl her hair .. no I do not curl my baby's hair!! But look how long her hair really is, its crazy!!
Sorry its a little blurry, she wouldn't sit still. Imagine that!!
She is looking up a little, so its not as long as it looks here, but its still pretty close!!

Random Pictures

'Paige, I just want ANOTHER hug!'
Just waiting on Daddy to get home. She grabbed a FEW toys to keep her occupied while she watched for him!

Still waiting..
'I hear Daddy!!!'

She thinks she needs to act like the little ones Mommy watches.
